Ben, a junior at St. Mark's School of Texas, helped the Lions win the team championship by winning the 189-pound weight class, his third conference title, at the Southwest Preparatory Conference Championships. He has lost only one of 45 matches this season.
Darquavis, a senior guard at Saginaw Arthur High, scored 34 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the defending Michigan Class A state champion Lumberjacks beat Libbey 81-60 in the final of the Martin Luther King Classic in Toledo.

Blake, a senior at Shawnee Mission West High who will attend Nebraska, was named Gatorade's Kansas high school player of the year. At quarterback he completed 68 passes for 1,329 yards and 15 TDs; at linebacker he had 60 tackles, two sacks and three interceptions.
Kaitlyn, a senior forward at Frank W. Cox High, was named Virginia's Group AAA field hockey player of the year. She scored in a state-record 23 games, led Virginia players with 50 goals and took the Falcons to an undefeated season and the Group AAA state title.

Chase, a junior at Shawnee Mission Northwest High, finished the season with 37 receptions for 600 yards and five touchdowns. He also had 15 kickoff returns for 500 yards (two TDs) and returned 12 punts for 260 yards. He was named to the U.S. Army all-combine team.
