Landon, a senior at Albermarle High, is the 2008 U.S. Short Track Junior Men's National champion. He won the 500, 1,000 and 1500 meters, the last in junior-record time (2:27.633), and will compete in this month's American Cup, Which is a World Cup Qualifier.

Tani, a senior forward this fall at Kalani High, is a two-time state scoring champ. She had 12 goals in 2007 and 23 goals in '08, both tops among boys and girls in Hawaii–even though she missed four games to play for the U.S. under-17 national team.

Spigner, a Tennessee-bound graduate of Valencia High, was EA Sports" national player of the year and CalHiSports.com's and gatorade state player of the year. A righthanded pitcher, she was 29–5 with 0.62 ERA and hit .480 with 12 home runs and 37 RBIs.

Quigley, a recent graduate of South Oldham High, won his fourth state singles title, the third player to do so in Kentucky and the first since 1974. He had a 66-0 record, was ranked No. 5 in his class by TennisRecruiting.net and was the state's 2007 junior player of the year.

Jacob, who is homeschooled and has started for Columbia High since sixth grade, is Prospectwire's top Florida recruit in the class of 2010 and Perfect Game's national No.9. A pitcher and shortstop, he won gold with the U16 national team at the '07 World Youth Championship

Rachele, a junior righthander at Masuk High, pitched five consecutive perfect games (seven total); she also had 12 no-hitters. In all she had 486 strikeouts and 0.07 ERA in 195 innings to lead the Panthers to a 27-0 record and their second straight Class LL title.

Kevin, a righthanded pitcher and recent graduate of Gaithersburg High, was 7-0 with 0.29 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 48.1 innings; the two-time Washington Post All-Met was named player of the year. As a junior he threw three no-hitters and a perfect game.

Cohen, a recent graduate of Lower Moreland High, won five Class AA Tennis championships (singles titles in 2007 and '08, team titles in '07 and '08 and a doubles title in '06)–the first titles his school had ever won. He will play at Clemson next year.

Aaron, a senior right-handed pitcher at LaRue County High, threw back-to-back perfect games against Corbin and heath, tying the national high school record. he finished the season 11–2 with a 1.25 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 67 and one third innings. He was a state East/West All-Star.
