how do you relax your muscles
after practice or a game how do you relax your muscles im new to football and i really ache from tryouts

I heard and ice bath isnt good for your body because of the temperature differential it can mess up your body. Me personally i just lay down eat a pickle drink some pickle juice watch a movie and just relax. Stretch in the mornings. Eat lots of fruits especially bananas.

I agree with Dallas.plus stretch alot and take a nice luke warm bath. you can iso the most painfull muscles with ice packs. I like to fill plastic cups and free them than I can iso rum my must painfull spots. and a nice rubdown can hurt too. deep rub not a soft sexy rub..save that for after the pain is gone..lol

drink lots of orange juice and eat oranges if you dont like orange juice, if you like them both do them both. because the oranges and juice takes out the lactic acid out of your muscles, and thats what makes your muscles stiff and sore, also eat bananas, the potassium is good for cramps

You should keep your body warm and do a lot of stretching. You might consider taking Yoga. Haha. Okay the Yoga part was too much. But Don't take a cold shower. Consider a luke warm one and then afterwards keep moving. You want to keep moving your muscles otherwise you'll just cramp up. Give it a few days. You're probably just using muscles you've never used before. It happened to me when I started cheerleading.

hey i take martial arts and i use to run alot. after every practice or anything id go home streach in the shower and lay down.dont take a cold shower it just frezes ur mussles.
