High School weight limit?
Should there be a high school football weight limit? If so, post what it should be, and if it should be allowed.

no way! my schools team is tiny compared to all the big guys....but that just makes winning sooooo much greater!

No way...I was one of those kids that had to play up every year, couldn't carry the ball...I had to lose 30 lbs in 6th grade in 6 weeks to play on a team! I did it~ now to play on the O~Line, I have to way 250 or more...I do what it takes.. if people can't measure up to play they can sit the bench or find another sport...maybe flag football~

absolutely not. hard work is behind every puond that u put on, and a weight limit would ruin the entire point of buffing up

No there shouldn't be a high school football weight limit. They have it in Pop Warner ball but in high school i dont see the point. in pop warner they have it to keep the teams as even as possible so that no team goes without a win and to give little kids a love for the game. In high school a weight limit would just keep some of the best people playing the game. Look at NFL linemen some have a weight of 300 lbs. They might not be there if they couldnt have played in high school.
