Why isn't Color Guard listed as a sport?
It's sad when we have to come to the marching band forum to talk about guard. I'm pretty sure guard is a sport of its own. And if you think it's not, I'd love to hear your opinion. : ]

i do agree tht it should be a sport. but i think the only reason y its not listed as a sport bc its hard enough trying to get everybody on the same page w/ saying tht marching band in general is a sport.

I totally agree with you there. Its like cheerleading. Everybody calls cheerleading a sport so why not color guard. We have to work JUST as hard as the marching band maybe even harder. So yeah it IS a sport.
