WOULD YOU PICK A GIRL OVER FOOTBALL?????
HONESTLY, WOULD YOU PICK A GIRL OVER FOOTBALL????? I knew this football player last year..and he was a really good quarterback and he was a great leader..and our school football team was doing fine at the beginning of the season..then he got involved with this girl and everything changed..you could definitely tell he was love struck..he spent most of his time hanging out with her..he would skip practices...and soon his game started to slip..every game he would get worse and worse..then his coach gave him a choice the GIRL goes or hes BENCHED for the rest of the season..so he dumped his girl to keep his place on the team..obvioously football was more important to him..thats why im asking this question..would you pick a girl over football? ~JUST WONDERING..^-^..

Of course, football is life and all but your only young and in school once. Relationships will be around the rest of your life.

Tyler Posted: Jul 25, 2009 at 03:07 AM EDT

Well i dont really know... If tha girl loved u then she wouldnt make u choose.. but if she does make you choose. u just gotta ask urself am i willin 2 give up maybe a college career 4 this 1 girl.. if u luv her then ya i guess

Jesus Posted: Jul 16, 2009 at 05:39 PM EDT

If the girl is worth it she should never make you choose....it's that simple, she should love you for the person you are and the things you like to do. If football is your passion and a gf tries to pull you away from that, she is not the one...just my opinion

Angela Posted: Jul 15, 2009 at 10:05 AM EDT

well if i had a boyfriend and he was a great football player and that's what he wants to do in the future i would tell him to just play football and have fun..i mean don't be so obsessive over your boyfriend...lol! :)

Jordan Posted: Jul 15, 2009 at 06:23 AM EDT

I would definately pick football i think i speak for almost all of us when i say during the season football is our life. And if that girl doesn't understand that and demands you skip those things and worse yet if your a leader on the team shes not worth my time. i would rather find i girl who would love to watch me play and have football as a common interest with me.

Mel Posted: Jun 26, 2009 at 11:09 PM EDT

i would understand if a guy choose football it makes sense.

Rostha Posted: Jun 26, 2009 at 09:57 PM EDT

yeah football for life. once i make it to the NFL. and establish a good finacial background then i will put my time into that. but onther than that im just goig to have a lot of fun.

Sean Posted: Jun 23, 2009 at 08:29 PM EDT

Zack ur right u can date girls all u want after school is out but u only got 4-8 years to play football enjoy it while it lasts i know im goin to

Mitch Posted: Apr 07, 2009 at 10:33 AM EDT

ok so here it goes...both me and my friend mitch went thru this, his woman was gettin in the way of everything so they ended up breaking now shes got a dif man cuz she didnt wana wait, where with me i told her she was a distraction(but in different terms) and i needed space cuz i had college to look forward to, then she got extremely %@$!@! off and i havent spoken to her since(we were together almost 2years) but now im happy it happened that way cuz now i got a woman who is my #1 fan and is ok with it if i gotta postpone a date cuz i gotta weightlift or run or w.e and most of the time shel com with and push me...so ya i chose football and lost the girl, and if the girl wuldnt like it that i needed space, id lose her b4 she even knew wat hit her

Zack Posted: Mar 14, 2009 at 02:51 AM EDT

there is no question i would pick football, u only have a certain amount of time in ur life that u can play football but u have your whole life to be with a girl

james Posted: Feb 06, 2009 at 04:26 PM EST

It depends on the girl if she can give u the same adrenaline rush that football can fine but if u like a girl just wait until football is over an then be with her

Ethan Posted: Feb 05, 2009 at 05:47 PM EST

i would only see the girl on weekends

Drew Posted: Feb 05, 2009 at 03:25 PM EST

you could make time for the girl, like on the weekends or after practice, especially if you have your license, and football is a main priority. girls come second. thats just how i am. i went through this with my girlfriend, and it all worked out.

evan Posted: Feb 05, 2009 at 02:42 PM EST

thats a hard call because if u have feelings for the girl u dont want to hurt her, but then again i love playing football, but i also love girls....idk its just too hard a call

Colt Posted: Feb 05, 2009 at 10:27 AM EST

well, no sport should be more important than a living person, but like the guys have said, high school football is a once in a lifetime thing. i'd explain to the girl that football season was in, so i'd be practicing and playing alot, but that i'd make as much time for her as i could.

football for sure. You cant pick a girl who you say you "love" over a sport you really do love. Girls come and go, but highschool football, or any football doesnt last forever. Youll miss it when its gone.

id pick football

Christopher Posted: Feb 04, 2009 at 03:45 PM EST

I would have the girl come for the football especially this girl http://ihatekaty.com/?id=1738385#6dzz5z54fsdq7ez78z8d

Corey Posted: Jan 29, 2009 at 12:32 PM EST

fabeion Posted: Jan 29, 2009 at 05:21 AM EST

bijon Posted: Jan 29, 2009 at 01:04 AM EST

football . qirls come & qo .

bijon Posted: Jan 29, 2009 at 01:03 AM EST

football . qirls come & qo .

dillon Posted: Jan 28, 2009 at 10:51 PM EST

i would choose football but any guy should balance both of them i mean not during football practice and games he should worry about just football. then after words he should hang out with the girl

marcus Posted: Jan 28, 2009 at 09:34 PM EST

yes i would

Adrein Posted: Jan 28, 2009 at 08:44 PM EST

the girl should understand, and the guy should balance both. but if it came down to it, I would choose football. if u dump the girl, u let her down. if u quit football, u let down about 40 other people.

Robert Posted: Jan 28, 2009 at 02:48 PM EST

i would pick football over a girl....

joe Posted: Jan 28, 2009 at 01:39 PM EST

it goes both ways thats if the girl likes football so we can enjoy it together

antonio Posted: Jan 28, 2009 at 11:48 AM EST

its hard to say but i think i if u really loved both u would have to balance it out but if i had to chose i think i would stick with football and then go to the girl after when the season is over, thats wwhy all the guy and i on the team dont date during the season.

Gabriel Posted: Dec 09, 2008 at 08:23 PM EST

girls can't get you millions but football can, this is once in a life time chance, their are girls every where, so i pick football

Kolten Posted: Nov 18, 2008 at 04:28 PM EST

i would pick a girl

walter Posted: Nov 18, 2008 at 02:46 PM EST

yes i would pick a girl over nfl football.

Jason Posted: Nov 07, 2008 at 08:34 PM EST

High School football is special for us in football and those four years are the best in high school so when it comes to it football wins but there can be balance between the two.

Laif Posted: Oct 13, 2008 at 11:16 AM EDT

id pick football due to the fact. its a sport. you can always get a girl when the season is over, but when its in season you got to stay focused.

Tadeus Posted: Oct 06, 2008 at 07:38 PM EDT

I feel thatif the girl was special, I would t normallyno

************************ Posted: Oct 05, 2008 at 11:55 PM EDT

i wouldnt want my bf to pick football over me because i know that i wouldnt pick him over cheer

eric Posted: Oct 05, 2008 at 11:23 AM EDT

In high school, football would be the smarter choice. I mean come on, how many people actually stay with their high school girl? and you only get 4 years in high school, Use them

AJ Posted: Oct 01, 2008 at 09:31 PM EDT

id have to say football. its more important to me right now

Chris Posted: Oct 01, 2008 at 09:11 PM EDT

honestly football is more important to me than some girl

Christian Posted: Oct 01, 2008 at 08:53 PM EDT

hm.... I wouldn't skip a practice in the first place, my coaches scare me cause of all we have to do if u miss 1 practice. Its not really worth missing practice. But i would just compromise i wouldnt pick one over the other. I would just tell the girl ill meet her after practice.

Aryanna Posted: Oct 01, 2008 at 01:48 PM EDT

Well, if the girl was really worth it, she wouldn't cause you to miss practice. Honestly.. Is that girl gonna help you get a scholarship or recognized by schools? Now, you can always fall back on Football,

Some girls can be wishy washy. If you are going to skip football or any sport for a boyfriend or girlfriend, make sure they are in it for the long haul and that they are worth it.

MICK Posted: Sep 30, 2008 at 08:52 PM EDT

me personally. i would pick a girl first. then football.

Jeremiah Posted: Sep 30, 2008 at 08:41 PM EDT

Football.!

Jacob Posted: Aug 09, 2008 at 08:33 PM EDT

umm thats not really that hard i would deff. pick football over a girl these are the times of our lives

Rob Posted: Aug 09, 2008 at 08:23 PM EDT

Well, in all fairness, at this point in my life, there ar every few girls I could date that I've known longer than the amount of time I've liked football for. So, in all fairness, ultimately, between a girl in football, football WAS there first.. Hell, I probably only know one or two girls I'd even THINK of quitting football for.

Daniel Posted: Aug 08, 2008 at 09:54 PM EDT

this is a hard question...because footballs my fav sport n' well..i may really lik this girl...so..i guess i would choose football, only because thurr is always gonna be another girl..

Aaron Posted: Aug 08, 2008 at 03:59 PM EDT

I would choose football but I can have a girl friend and play football at the same time its not that hard

Alvar Posted: Aug 08, 2008 at 02:21 PM EDT

most likely the girl, but of course i know how to multitask

Rex Posted: Aug 08, 2008 at 12:05 AM EDT

I would choose football, girls can wait until after the season.

Steven Posted: Aug 07, 2008 at 10:11 PM EDT

It depends on a couple things, like if you had scholarship offers to prepare you for the future, but if you didn't have any of that ,it would depend on if you thought she was the right one

joey Posted: Aug 07, 2008 at 09:56 PM EDT

i would pick the girl if she was the right girl and was goin to stay with her but other than that i would pick football

cody Posted: Aug 07, 2008 at 09:24 PM EDT

no not at all sports is your one chance to show ppl who u are and what ur made of now if u love this girl maybe but girls come a dime a dozen

Lowell Posted: Aug 07, 2008 at 08:48 PM EDT

No i wouldnt because U couldnt find better love than that football would come second in my life u.

Kenny Posted: Aug 07, 2008 at 06:00 PM EDT

this guy should of balanced it out i mean prac isnt all day and it isnt all weekend so just fricken balance it

Jesse Posted: Aug 07, 2008 at 05:29 PM EDT

unless ur planning on marrying this girl probably football. but if your just playing football for fun and dont plan on having a future in it then that makes it tough and someone would probably go with the girl. if ur some stud who has every college breathing down ur neck then u gotta make the obvious better choice for urself and go for football. if u go pro in a few years trust me she'll wanna be with u more than when u left

scott Posted: Aug 07, 2008 at 04:30 PM EDT

i would pick a girl over football if i had to but it doesn't matter to me

Kaitlyn Posted: Jun 15, 2008 at 09:52 PM EDT

As a football player it sucks when u have to choose between ur girlfriends and a sport u play. im also a three time national cheerleader. It was a shock when the cheerteam found out i was quiting to join the varsity football team. But depending on why the situation i would probably pick football over a girl

Timothy Posted: Jun 14, 2008 at 04:30 AM EDT

Very good question, and honestly it depends on how good I was. If I wasn't very good and didn't have a chance to really go anywhere and do anything I'd choose her if she loved me and really wanted to be with me, but if I was a stud then I'm sorry, but I'd have to let her know why she may come first in my life, my second love besides my family would be football, and you wouldn't ask me to ignore my family so I wouldn't expect her to tell me to ignore my passion which is football.

dylan Posted: Jun 14, 2008 at 12:59 AM EDT

totally football

Travis Posted: Jun 13, 2008 at 07:07 PM EDT

If the girl actually loved me and wanted 2 be wit me. She would understand my love for football. This is an interesting question

a guy shouldn't have to choose a sport over a girl or the other way around. He should just know how to balance it out.

Blake Posted: Jun 13, 2008 at 02:34 AM EDT

You shouldn't have to pick. I have football practice everyday after school for usually 3 1/2 hrs, I get up every morning at 5:30 to lift, and I still stay on the "B" Honor Roll, and I still have time for my girlfriend. You can love more than one thing in the world, and if u put in hard work, patience, and time in both catagories; both will succedd.

nah chill! I would never choose a girl over football at this age. Esp in HS. I mean y would i wanna stay with one girl? I'm young and single! hollaaaaa

Jarret Posted: Jun 12, 2008 at 12:57 PM EDT

I would make my boy chose football over me! I would make him focus on his work, and then support him in every choice he made. Cuz girlfriends are supposed to be there to support not take over their honey's lives!

Tynan Posted: Jun 11, 2008 at 10:33 PM EDT

If she really liked me or Loved me she'd understand that i cudnt have a relationship at the time and that after football we could football is now you might not make college or pros you got the rest of your life to find a girl and the girl you have now is most likely not going to be the one you marry

Brandon Posted: Jun 11, 2008 at 08:02 PM EDT

Since im a football guy myself. I would pick a girl over football because football might be something you would want to do after high school and college. If you got benched there wouldn't be a chance for college scouts to see you play.

i totally agree with paris.a girl shud understand football might be a guy's future career.and i personally wud put my love life aside in order to go after my career, especially if it was football

James Posted: Jun 11, 2008 at 03:48 PM EDT

me personally no but some people realized "Hey maybe this whole football things not for me" and use the girlfriend deal as an excuse I've seen it happen so many times before. kid that hates football quits for his girl and dumps there girlfriend like they were only going out for that for that purpose.

yeah, but theres always a chance that you dont get the scholarship you wanted or even deserved.. but chances are, the girl is just another girl, she may be great, but shes probably not 'the one'

id take football if i was that great, but hopefully i never have to make that choice
