Needing help
I really need help. My team last season had fairly good individual players for our varsity team, but the thing is, our attitudes got in the way. as the season went along i tried my best to get the team to do more "team-like" things, it never worked. i know next volleyball season for high school isn't until next march, but what should i do to get a team full of basketball players (over half of the team- both varsity and jv- played on the basketball team) to atleast try to give an effort and lose the attitudes when it comes to volleyball?

Have you guys ever had team bonding? I spent my spring season helping coach out with the Varsity Boys volleyball team and I'll continue to do through HS. I have been to every team bonding the boys came up with since they now consider me their "TEAM MOM." They all do get along very well. One of the boys started becoming friends with someone who he did not like. So try a few things like making team shirts to get the team together. Play games, have a BBQ, anything that brings the team together where everyone could sit and talk and get to know each other
