What's the hardest sport?
All the time I hear ppl say that their sport is the hardest of anyone, well, if you think it is, then prove it. Tell us what's so hard about your sport, and we'll determine it for ourselves.

think about it... hockey, not just cause i play but because of the facts. all sports have some sort of movement involved and this mostly has to do with your legs. when you are born it is expected that you are supposed to walk eventually. walking turns into running and now you can compete for almost any sport. hockey is different, skating is a whole new skill set you have to learn from scratch there is no way around it. form, speed, and a whole bunch of other variables come into consideration when skating. not to mention stick .. wrist shot, backhand, slap shot, snap shot. angles are also a huge part of the game. in order to take a person off the puck you have to meet them at and angle. also, there are no set plays in hockey, you have to think on your feet and think as you play. all and all there is no sport that even comes close to the difficulty of hockey.

Haha, well, Jake, I completely agree with you. I did boys volleyball stats for the high school, (our boys team just started this year) and they were made fun of..CONSTANTLY. Volleyball is a difficult sprot, and I play Libero. I'm 5'2. lol

in order to get kills, the pass needs to be perfect, the set has to be right on, the hitter has to be ready and see the oppurtunity, the diggers have gotta be down and covering the ball, the hitters gotta be ready to block right after, its a game of error, whoever makes the first error loses the point... So in our sport its be perfect or lose. the end lol Those are my main reason for putting volleyball as a really hard sport, its not easy, if one of you football players or soccer players wanna challenge that, step onto my court and see how it feels to get hit in the face by a volleyball lol your welcome

hmm well whats hard about mine... i think ill explain volleyball... our sport, specifically guys, doesnt get much credit, volleyballs mainly seen as a girls sport.. so you deal with all the taunting and laughing that comes from the sport. You really have to prove yourself, to other teams. Also volleyball is all skill, you dont need to be extremely strong, extremely tall or anything to play it, its all about skill, im short, 5' 8", short for a vball player, but i make up for it with perfect passes and making sure i get the ball to the setter all the time... Which then leads to another part, Volleyball is a team sport all the way!
