    • cheerleading isn't a sport...period.. i just wanted to let you know that cuz i don't read anything but the first sentence of ur long piece of *$$@ notes...cuz they are useless to me...this group was for people who don't thing cheering (wow what a gay little word) is a sport...not people trying to justify it cuz frankly i don't care how much of a sport you "think" it is...it's not...the end.

I can bench 150 10X. I can run for 25 minutes and stop with a normal breathing rate. I'm a weak tumbler, but i still have a handspring tuck and a standing tuck. The standing came easy to me because i have such power in my legs. I can hold a hollow body position for 17 minutes. Am I exaggerating? No. Am i trying to brag? no. I'm just saying...I could sure as hell make it through a soccer game. You are showing your ignorance if you say it isn't a sport.

If you've never been a cheerleader don't even pretend to know what it's like..football players throw balls in the air and catch them..cheerleaders throw people..

um excuse me, but cheerleading is a sport heck yea can a cheerleader play a soccor game witout passing out! heck to the yea we can even still be bouncing up and down wit energy long after the freakin' game!!! so if any of u wanna bes don't think cheerleading is a sport them mayb u should try it for yourself hello its a SPORT!!!!! idc wat u losers say, but it is it was signed as a world wide sport by the ppl of ESPN!!!! so if u don't believe me ur just livin' ur lives as a l-i-e so ther!!!

Hey Guys: The first real cheerleaders did just that, they led cheers. Every school had their own cheers that were related to their school. I can remember a group of young women and men leading the student body in a rousing "RIP EM' UP, TEAR EM' UP, GIVE EM HELL WEST HIGH". Usually repeated numerous times especially when the team slammed the other. Usually Cohn High. See ya, Jim

Cheerleading isnt a sport all you do is like jump around in a short @!! skirt yelling like try and play football or rugby or something then tell me it is a sport! I hate cheerleading

Watch your damn mouth saying girls don't get hurt. A girl just DIED as a result of a freak accident in cheerleading. Her lung COLLAPSED during the competition when her rib was broken and punctured it. I can assure you it wasn't stupidity that caused this. !#@$&!@.
