hiya! so i am leaving this random comment thingy! my name is Jessica, i play flute in the mtn home marching tigers band in mtn. home idaho! we are planning to go to disney land this year we are fundraising like maniacs! if you guys have any helpful hints for sliding and back marching i could use the help cause our flute section ( besides like 3 of us in cluding me in the three) need it cause they suck so yeah i am also going to try out for section leader next year so i am pumped for that i can't wait ! so have fun and see ya on the feild! love cookies

Hey! I'm Alana from Tuscarora High School in Frederick, MD. I'm the drum major, but berofe that I played pic.

I for one love marching band it is my life.... We are important part of the school organizations.... We practice hard and at all hours of the day... It takes alot to get out in the sun and learn music and sets plus marching techniques.... Band is the shiznits... And we probably kno the feild betta than the football players ever will.... We have heart... and blood in our eye every time we get out there on that feild and do wat we do best.... Not everybody can say they can march correctly, play, and move into sets at the same time... It takes brains and guts... We need more people cheering us on instead of puttin us down.... We go further for competition and have fewer people traveling with us.... I say it's time for a change.... They don't call us Grenada High School Band until we start bringin home the trophies for them durin marching season they call us the band kids.... I love marching band sum may call me a band geek and think band sucks but dey haven't but as much blood, sweat, or tears into it as I have so call me a "band geek" if you like to because I am one..... I love band and I neva will stop so to all da marchin band students out there don't stop keep going do wat u do and shake all your hataz off....

I'm not sure where my band is going this year, we kinda threw all of our extra money into going to Bands of America this year, which we didn't do as good at as we should have, so next season will probably be somewhat quiet... I know we're doing the Timber Creek Band Competition and Tarpon Springs competition... So nothing really big...

Still waiting for our band director to tell us what the show is... all he'll say is it's awesome and that we'll get our music and after the Spring Concert... he doesn't want us to neglect the Spring Concert for next year's marching band...

For a video of this year's show, YouTube "Lake Howell Silver Regiment" Neither of the videos are very good... the Bands of America video seems like we're off-time, but it's the insane echo that the dome made that created that effect, and we didn't perform up to par... the other video is from the county band festival, and that's from a bad angle, and the show again was not performed to its best.
