well strong legs is the key to being a good base in stunting. it looks like base girls only use their arms to lift, but its really a lot more of the legs. so you'd probably be really good as a base. you should go to one of their practices to see how they do their jumps and learn the counts to them. also try to learn a few cheers and stuff.

there isn't really a specific place to start, you just need to know the basics, like how to do a jump, how to do sharp motions(high v, low v, touch down, low touch dow, right/left punch, t, broken t, ect.) and get to each one fast and clean, work on yelling with your diaphram instead of your lungs (it'll make you louder and deeper which is good if your team goes to competitions because voice is a big part of the score), and if you are a soccer player im sure you can run a lot (again, if your team competes, you'll need to be able to perform an intnse 2.5 (or more) minute routine of cheers, stunts, gymnastics, jumps, and dance non stop without pretty much dying of not being able to breathe).

well there are a lot of places you could start, so ill ask you a few questions first so i can get an idea of what to tell you.

can you do gymnastics? do you know what the prep is for your teams jumps? in a stunt, are you looking to be a top girl, base, or back? and are you flexable?
