Beckham is an athletic, supremely talented player with potential above average defensive ability at the Major League level. His actions are smooth, fluid and easy. His right handed stroke is solid overall, and he shows occasional power. His athletic ability should help him develop further with the bat, though even if he didn't his defensive ability and speed alone would still keep him among the top prospects in the 2008 class.

ive played against tim nd he is one of the best ss ive ever cn in hs. he got quick smooth hands fielding. can hit to all parts of da field.. he just an all around good baseball player i hope he does well in the mlb along wit his brother..
