Scouting Report

Baseball Factory

An imposing physical presence on the mound at 6-foot-7, Meyer still has room to add strength to his frame - making him one of the more projectable pitchers around. He already has among the best fastballs in the 2008 class, easily reaching into the mid 90's. Many expect to see near triple digits on the radar gun from him this spring. Can further develop secondary pitches and pitchability, but the sky is the limit for him.

If he signs with the sox (hopefully he does) I see him doing pretty good there, they have some of the best minor league coachs. They can make him into somebody.
