I had a good year if you ask Al Hartman, Teammates, and I. I grabbed 19 wins at a weight class(as a freshman)that was staked with seniors and great wrestlers. I beat several senior captains during the stint. I earned 4th place in sectionals that allowed me to move on to regionals, unfortunately i lost in the ticket round matchup to a senior 3-2. 2008 state open champ, 2009 state open champ. qaulifier for 2009 Nuway nationals. 2009 Nuway national champ. 08-09 Ihssa regional qaulifier. 4th out of 16 215 pounders at the Rochester invite. 3rd out of 16 teams at the rochester invite. 3rd at the Merrilville invite. 3rd at the munster invite. complied an overall team record of 19-12. I also won the 2009 Elkhart Central rookie classic. Team earned 4th place at sectionals. Earned 2nd place at the N.I.C Duals(pool B)
